About
Contemporary female body performance
Clodagh Delahunty-Forrest is a young female body performer, studying performance art at Lancaster University. Her performative practice explores topical feminist issues, continuing the legacy of 1980s and 1990s performers such as Carolee Schneemann and Karen Finley.

Experimenting with language, Clodagh explores glitch poetics, art writing techniques and spoken word in her auto-biographical narratives. Her latest performance 'Raising my body' explores the pain and transformational cycles of womanhood through alter egos. Embodying these cycles, Clodagh converses with her younger and future self, combining the performing fleshy body with digital bodies, for an immersive experience.

Clodagh Delahunty-Forrest performed opening night at Up North Art's exhibition 'Uninterrupted'.
